NWA Science Communication 2025 Grant for "AI for Parents"
We have received a new grant from the Nationale Wetenschapsagenda (NWA) to explore how parents, teachers, and scientists can co-create accessible educational tools on generative AI.
Background
Our science communication team at DACS has received €150.000 in funding from the NWA Wetenschapscommunicatie 2025 call for the project KI voor ouders: samen leren, samen ontdekken en samen maken. The two-year project aims to increase parents’ scientific literacy and confidence in guiding their children in a world where AI is increasingly shaping education.
In co-creation workshops, parents, teachers, learners, and researchers work together to explore needs, develop content, and test practical tools like guides, videos, or chatbots. This project brings science closer to society and helps build bridges between home and school.
