Welcome to eduDACS!

The Computing Sciences Education (CSE) group of the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences (DACS), Maastricht University (UM), explores how artificial intelligence, data science, and computer science can enhance education. We innovate assessment, teaching methods, and student engagement strategies. This site shares our projects and collaborations, bridging research and practice to improve education at UM and beyond.

A prototype of an automatic course feedback agent

A Master Research Project group built a prototype of a system that reaches out to course participants after a teaching session to collect feedback for the teacher. We believe this type of system can be significantly more effective than traditional course feedback collected at the end of the course. The group also wrote a report about the system and its testing which will be published later this year. Stay tuned for updates! \ MRP Group 4, Spring 2025: Miguel Teixeira, Julie Bauer, Mikolaj Borowiecki, Chen Leyu, Zainab Kadour, and Noah Endres \ Contact: Aki Härmä and Martijn Bousse, DACS, Maastricht University, edudacs.nl
